(6/14/10) The Howards Jr. Rodeo/AzNJRA date has been confirmed and posted. The Howards Jr. Rodeo/AzNJRA will be held on August 22, 2010. This event will be held in conjunction with the Annual Howards Open Show Rodeo. See the RODEO SCHEDULE page.

The May 9th Manson's Battle for the Saddles #1 results have been posted. Hannah Rae Yazzie is leading the race for the girls saddle and Tee O'Brien Jim is leading the gentlemen.

D & L MANYGOATS OPEN JUNIOR RODEO SCHEDULED FOR THIS WEEKEND (7/31/10) HAS BEEN CANCELLED.
Results are being updated for the last two events (i.e July 17, 2010 & July 23, 2010).
ALL RESULTS HAVE BEEN UPDATED INCULDING THE ALL-AROUND EVENTS.
OUR DEEPEST APOLOGIES FOR THE EXTENDED DELAY IN POSTING THE RESULTS. FLAWS WERE DISCOVERED IN THE POINTS BY A PARENT AND WE HAD TO GO THROUGH ALL POINTS / RESULTS TO ENSURE ACCURACY FOR OUR MEMBERS. Rest assured, we will monitor the points more closely to ensure that this doesn't occur again. Thank You PARENTS and MEMBERS for your patience.
Our next event: "KOWBOY KOOL" Jr. Rodeo on July 17, 2010. We want to recognize our young cowboys participating in our association.
The next SYBRA junior bullriding event will be held July 17, 2010. We are looking forward to many more.
Also, Marlon and family, many thanks. The 4 Pack Mini-Series on May 9th was great and it's going to be a success.
Parents who are new to the association:
Some questions have arisen over kids competing in divisions that they do not qualify for based on age. If your child is in midget and wants to do pole bending, you have two options: 1) time only pole bending, no points, no payback $3 entry for members, or; 2) your child can move into the peewee division in that event only and compete for event points (peewee points) towards a year end award. You must pay the $10 entry fee.
The rules state that if an event is not offered in the child's division they may move up to the next division for that event only and earn points in that event (not to be counted towards their "home" division all around).
The rules also state that we allow a child to move completely out of their division if they find they want to compete in an older division, e.g. peewee contestant who wants to compete as a junior may move to the junior division but must stay there all years. No moving back.
We believe in allowing the child to compete to their fullest potential.

The revised 2010 Rule Book has been uploaded- please print yourself off a copy. Please familarize yourself with the rules- also the fund raising clause- we will be strictly enforcing that this year.
